I spent May getting rid of as many London Business School responsibilities as possible. I have handed over most of the clubs (North American, Media, Rugby, Softball, Student Association) and have been working on some final things for career services and the class gift.
Now that I have some more free time, I have been working on trying to get my life organized a little better. I picked up David Allen's Getting Things Done from the library and find it pretty useful. A bunch of geeks swear by GTD and sites like Merlin Manns 43folders.com are full of good information and tips on how to implement it. Being a person that eschews using paper, I have been made very happy by iGTD. It is a great piece of software for GTD and integrates well with Quicksilver (my other most favorite application for the Mac). So far it has definitely made me more productive. (Now I just need to get around to filing all of these stacks of paper.
I have only one month left before congregation, which is exciting and kind of sad. My July is basically clear of everything and in August I am heading to South Africa and then back to the States for two weddings. I don't have to start work until September, but by that point I will DEFINTELY need the income.
