After a whirlwind trip around New England and New York, Bethany and I spent new year's eve with some friends having dinner and champagne. I have never been a big fan of New Year's because it usually amounts to a bunch of idiots roaming the streets of New York. We watched the Dick Clark count down, which was a little sad because after the stroke, Dick isn't able to count down with the correct time.
Got back to London the other day. American Airlines (worst non-discount airline ever) managed to lose both of Bethany's bags in transit. Of course, she was annoyed, but it made getting home a little easier. I had to spend the next day waiting for her luggage to be delivered, which was OK because I was jetlagged anyway.
The biggest news is, of course, that I finally got to plug in my new Nintendo Wii. I picked up an extra controller set (with nunchuck) and the game Rayman: Raving Rabbids which is hilarious and a lot of fun. (Basically it is a bunch of minigames using the Wiimotes.) We have also been competing in WiiSports, where I am able to play Tennis pretty well, but my bowling always hooks left.
I have a few more days of "freedom" before my block week in Brand Management starts next week. Still have some interviews for jobs and other work that needs to be taken care of. Will post some photos on Flickr shortly from the break.
