Christmas Eve

It is the night before Christmas, and I am out in Connecticut with the family (including Uncle Lloyd). We have been practicing our pageant, which mainly consists of a variety of "instruments" (I play the digital drumsticks) to songs like "Happy Days Are Here Again" and "Battle Hymn of the Republic". Today we went sporting clay shooting. I shot miserably, because, I think, my thoughts are on other things like my final, final interview with a company.
On better news, I got top marks in the class where I presented my laundry service business plan. I also "met" Johnny Knoxville at ACE Bar the other night.
I also spent the last week meeting up with all of my friends in New York, which was great. I leave the day after tomorrow to go up to Boston to see Bethany's family.
Merry Christmas!

The Return to New York

After heading to Argentina with the Rugby Club (which was an awesome time that I would love to tell you about, but unfortunately, what goes on tour, stays on tour), I have returned to New York. I have a week here while I try and finish Christmas Shopping, then a few days in Connecticut for Christmas, then I head to Boston for a few days to see Bethany and her family.
Both Bethany and I will be returning to New York for New Years where I will be able to see some friends that I haven't seen for awhile.
A relaxing time. At least when I get back to London, I get to play my new Nintendo Wii!

The End of the 4th Term

It has been a little while since I last posted. The final weeks of this term have been incredibly busy with the completion of a business plan for a new venture development course and some assignments for analytical marketing. I guess I could have seen a large amount of work coming because the rest of the term has been mild (school-work wise).
The great news is that our hard work on our business plan for a van-based laundry service was EXTREMELY well received by the investors assembled for the presentation. Although we mainly did it as a class excercise, there is some indication that it could be a really viable business. I don't know if I have the time right now to follow through, as I would like to get a real job.
Speaking of which, one company that I would really like to work for seems to be interested in possibly hiring me. I have had numerous interviews, a test and had to present to them, but I have been receiving positive feedback and have learned that I am in the "offer review process" that means I might get an offer from them shortly.
Now that my school work is done, I just have the Santa Pub Crawl on Saturday, and then I am off to Argentina on Sunday. Hopefully my Nintendo Wii will arrive before then so that I can get in a few games of Mario, Zelda and/or Wii Sports before leaving.
