To say that last week was exhausting would be an understatement.
Even though the Media Summit is over, there is still some wrap-up work to cover. I also had four interviews last week with one more to come on Monday. I have heard back from some of the companies with whom I have interviewed and have had some mixed results. Rejection is never fun, regardless of whether it is from a place that I really liked or a place that I had a lukewarm feeling towards. But two of my top picks are still on the table, so I am excited about that.
Guy Fawkes was this weekend. Went down to Clapham to see the fireworks there and then on to a friend's house for beers and curried goat. Last night (Saturday) our communal garden had a bonfire, which was a good time to finish a bottle of wine and relax.
Arctic air has been pressing down on the UK, so it has become a lot colder. I will be off to Paris next weekend with the girlfriend and then back to Paris the next weekend with the Rugby team to play INSEAD. Even though it will be two weekends in the same city, I would assume that the experiences will differ wildly.
